STATE GRID Corporation of China launched the sixth national large-scale power grid construction at the end of 2018, including the last batch of 1000kV UHV power grid construction, resulted in a significant increase in demand for steel towers in domestic market. The current top 10 tower manufacturers in China are in full reserve at least for 10 months, this situation will last till mid-2021. In order to solve the shortage of common tower production capacity, make better service to international customers, realize the rapid performance and delivery, Henan Dingli Electric Equipment Co., Ltd. has invested China's first angle steel tower production line, which is specially dedicated to the ASTM standards, BS standards and other international standards. The first phase design annually capacity is 15,000 tons, and the second phase design annually capacity is 20,000 tons. This line will be put into operation pretty soon. The production line has absorbed more than 30 years of manufacturing experience from Henan Dingli Pole & Tower Co., Ltd., using many self-developed auxiliary equipments. From the raw materials entry inspection to the final product inspection are highly automated.

In order to adapt to the design habits which uses large numbers of small size angle steel in Latin American market (High Strength Angle Steel, L is less than 63mm), Henan Dingli has customized high-strength small size angle steel production line, meanwhile, reached an agreement with the angle steel factory to batch-roll 4000 tons of such raw material (1000 tons per model) to ensure the fastest delivery of orders in international market.
